I've been using the same magic mouse for a few years with no problems. Then I bought a new laptop table. It looks smooth, but if you look really closely, it's slightly "pebbled" which is only noticeable when I use the mouse, because the pebbling creates a scraping sound and slight resistance. I googled the problem and saw other people had put tape on the mouse feet. I used normal clear tape and it made a big difference, but I didn't cut the tape down to the exact perfect size, so the edges of the tape were picking up dirt & lint. It was gross to see.After more googling, I came across this product which had good reviews and was cheap, so worth a try. WOW! This works so much better than the tape did! The mouse really glides across the table so much better than it did with tape. These little "skates" are the perfect size to fit the feet, so there is no sticky part hanging over the edges to pick up dirt. They are also thicker than normal tape, so if you've really worn the feet down, this will give a tiny bit more height to them.I just wanted to leave a product review for these because I didn't expect them to work so much better than tape! I was mainly buying them so they would fit better than the tape and not pick up dirt, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well they work! Plus the seller included 4 so I have a 2nd set in case anything happens to these. They also included 2 individually wrapped alcohol pads so you can clean the mouse feet before applying for perfect adhesion. I just love when a cheap little upgrade makes SUCH a big difference. I should have done this sooner!EDIT: I used this for 2 days before I realized there were thin pieces of cellophane plastic over the "skates" that you're supposed to peel off before using. I didn't notice until it started coming off on its own from use. Once I peeled off the cellophane, THE MOUSE SLIDES EVEN BETTER!!! So happy I bought this.
