Our dishes have always been produced in France in Marcigny in the south of Burgundy: it is a tradition and savoir-faire which has been handed down from generation to generation. High resistance oven ceramic was developed for slow, even cooking in the oven and microwave. Particularly resistant to shocks, our ceramic is even used in restaurants. A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Our ceramics allow our products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot over (+250C/500F). Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an ageing effect on a product. Our glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents. We are proud to offer products made from very high quality ceramic, which pass very rigorous quality control by our team. Our warranty covers any production fault or quality problem with the product when used in a normal domestic environment, and respecting the care and use instructions. Any variation in the finish of the item is due to the handiwork carried out in our workshops and does not alter in any way the culinary qualities of our dishes. The 1-quart pitcher features a precise pouring spout and a gracefully curved handle that fits easily in the hand and offers balance. The pitcher is so durable and heat resistant that it withstands the rigors of kitchen use unlike most ceramic or stoneware pitchers that chip or crack easily. The pitcher retains heat or cold temperatures longer then metal, glass or stoneware pitchers and it is dishwasher safe. It also fits nicely in a refrigerator door.
