Description

✅ 3 scion cuttings of the Arkansas Black apple, also known as "Arkansas Black" or "Arkblack," for grafting purposes. This variety is renowned for its crisp and dense texture, making it ideal for cooking and desserts rather than eating fresh. It is a late-maturing apple, with ripeness in New Jersey typically starting in mid-November, often coinciding with the first snowfall. ✅ Originating in Benton County, Arkansas, in 1870, the Arkansas Black apple is medium to large in size with a round shape and deep red color that darkens to purplish-red or nearly black when fully ripe. Its firm, crisp, yellowish flesh has a distinctive, aromatic flavor that improves with storage. This variety keeps well and is a favorite for those who enjoy long-lasting apples. ✅ The cuttings will be sent wrapped in wet media during dormancy (November-April). From July to October, cuttings will be de-leafed or partially de-leafed to prevent damage due to hot temperatures. I prefer to send out orders on Mondays or Tuesdays to ensure the cuttings do not sit on a shelf over the weekend. Please check your state's local laws regarding plant entry. Due to U.S.D.A. regulations, some plants cannot send to Texas, Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, California, or Puerto Rico. ✅ If you have any questions about this item, feel free to ask—I am always happy to help. A tracking number is provided ✅ Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving the order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
